Welcome to Founders Window Care & Detailing, LLC. By approving an estimate, scheduling a service, accessing our website, or using services available through https://foundersclt.com/, the client (“Customer”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope of Work and Property Access
Scope of Work: Services will be performed according to the approved estimate or service agreement. Any additional work requested by the Customer may result in additional charges and must be approved before it is performed.
Access to Property: The Customer agrees to provide access to the property on the scheduled service date. This includes unlocking gates, moving obstructing vehicles, securing pets, and clearing safe pathways to the work areas.
Obstructions: Customers should clear windowsills and move fragile or valuable items away from windows before our arrival. The Company is not responsible for moving heavy furniture, electronics, or personal belongings.
Water Source: When required for the scheduled service, the Customer agrees to provide access to a functioning outdoor water source.
2. Weather Policy
Window cleaning may be safely performed during light rain. However, severe weather—including heavy rain, lightning, high winds, freezing temperatures, or other unsafe conditions—may require the service to be postponed.
The Company reserves the right to reschedule service to the next available date when conditions could affect safety or service quality. The Customer will be notified as early as reasonably possible.
3. Pre-Existing Conditions and Damage Waiver
Pre-Existing Damage: The Company is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, including torn or weathered screens, cracked or loose glass, damaged window frames, deteriorated seals, degraded caulking, oxidation, or hard-water staining that cannot be removed through standard cleaning.
Scratches and Fabrication Debris: Some glass may contain manufacturing defects or fabrication debris that makes it highly susceptible to scratching. The Company is not responsible for scratches caused by fabrication debris, defective glass, prior cleaning methods, construction materials, or damage that was not visible before cleaning.
Paint, Adhesive, and Construction Debris: Removal of paint, tape, adhesive, silicone, mortar, concrete, or other construction debris is not included in standard window cleaning unless specifically stated in the approved estimate. Additional approval may be required before using scrapers, blades, chemicals, or restoration methods.
Screens and Window Components: Screens, tracks, frames, locks, and other window components may become brittle or damaged because of age, sun exposure, weather, or improper installation. The Company is not responsible for damage caused by the normal handling of already weakened or deteriorated materials.
4. Service Results
The Company will make reasonable efforts to provide professional and satisfactory results. However, some stains, mineral deposits, oxidation, scratches, seal failure, fogging between panes, and permanent glass damage may not be removable through standard cleaning.
The Customer understands that cleaning does not repair damaged glass, screens, seals, frames, siding, gutters, or other property components.
5. Estimates, Pricing, and Payment
Estimates are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. Pricing may be adjusted if the actual condition, size, accessibility, or scope of the work differs from what was originally described or observed.
Payment is due according to the terms stated in the approved estimate or invoice. The Customer is responsible for all approved charges associated with the completed service.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should provide reasonable notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Repeated cancellations, last-minute changes, or failure to provide property access may result in a cancellation or trip fee when disclosed before service.
The Company may reschedule an appointment because of unsafe working conditions, severe weather, equipment issues, staffing emergencies, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
